WINE TOURS AND WINE TASTING WITH MARINA

Marina is a Certified Trainer in 1st Promotion DO Malaga from the Malaga Wine and Raisin Regulatory Council. Master in Wine Tourism at Malaga Tourism University, Consultant and Guide, established by the Junta de Andalucia in Rural Tourism and Visitor Services.
In October 2018, she decided to share her passion for her home, the Axarquía in Malaga, and for the wine culture of Malaga, and founded EnoXperience Ruta de la Pasa, a wine tourism company through which she carries out activities related to the culture and history of Malaga wine and the production of Malaga sultanas. The company promotes field activities from where we observe the "paseros", the place where sultanas are produced in the Malaga Axarquía, a production recognised by UNESCO in 2018 as World Agricultural Heritage (equivalent to World Heritage).
We visit the vineyard, where we learn about the phases of Vitis vinifera, the main varieties grown in the vertical vineyards of the Axarquía, at an altitude of around 700 metres above the Mediterranean Sea. We conduct wine tastings in the DO Malaga and DO Sierras de Malaga vineyards. Sultana tastings during the production season in the months of September and October. We visit wineries with decades of history where we learn how internationally recognised wines are made, visit their facilities and taste some of their most emblematic wines.
